pak.german update

There’s a new update of the pak.german pakset (102.2.2e). The development team has updated the texts with new translations and help files and they have also included new objects like a set of signals, citycars, goods and several factories for the plastic industry chain. As always, this update contains small improvements like several bugfixes related with vehicles alignment, retire and intro dates.

new pakset on the way… pak96.hh

pak96hh screenshotThis is an old project from 2006, carried out by Frank. The original idea is to take pak64’s scale but using 96 pixel tiles. This gives the player more space for the surrounding environment of the objects.

You can download an early demo with non free objects for a better gaming experience, but you will also need simuttd pakset and a test game. Remember the pakset is still under development.

Another pak.german minor update

There’s a new small update for the pak.german pakset (102.2.2d). The development team has fixed several small bugs related with running costs, intro dates and player colors. It also includes a new train from FlohOswald, called bay 3T5.

Pak 32.comic sources now on Sourceforge

The source files of pak32.comic are now beeing stored in the simutrans svn repository on Sourceforge, link.

Main purpose of this is to store the files safely, and make them available to people who want to draw something for the set, but you can also browse the files for fun.

pak.german minor update

There’s a new small update for the pak.german pakset (102.2.2c). It’s mainly a bugfix release but it also includes several news like new stations, trams and trains.

The development team has fixed several alignment problems and has changed the attributes from some trains and platforms, in order to balance the gameplay.

new demo of pak128.german

The new team of pak128.german is pleased to present an updated demo version of this pakset.

This new demo version includes new graphics from Lemuria, with modern architectures and the gaps in the industry chains have been filled, thus the playability has been improved. The development team recommends not to play with timeline based savegames yet, and as always feedbacks and bug reports are welcome.

July’s Edition of Simutrans Monthly Screenshot Contest

The summer begins and the July’s edition of SMSC too. The subject of this month is Highway infrastructures.

Everybody can participate, with only one screenshot of 800 x 600 pixels, in jpg or png formats. You can use any pakset, and the deadline is July 15th. The voting begins on July 16th.

The prize will be a mention of your nickname in the Simutrans Hall of Fame, praises from the whole community and one post including your picture at blog and simutrans.com.

Pak 32 comic version 0.8.2 out now

A new version of Pak 32 comic has been released.

New features are:

  • Diagonals for roads
  • Rivers
  • a channel
  • Stops for the above

Names of citybuildins were changed, so old savegames won’t load, sorry.

Fix: freight images, they should work now.

pak.HD development rebooted!

pak96.HD2 testDid you remember that awesome hand drawn pakset created by Raven long time ago? We got good news for you. Nico192, from the German Simutrans Forum, has started a new colored version of that pakset called pak96.HD2.

It’s in a very early stage of development, by now there’s only a couple of buildings and some ground tiles, but the roadmap of the project looks very promising.
