{"id":1473,"date":"2011-04-26T19:31:35","date_gmt":"2011-04-26T19:31:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.simutrans.com\/?p=1473"},"modified":"2011-04-26T19:32:01","modified_gmt":"2011-04-26T19:32:01","slug":"pak128-version-1-99-alpha-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.simutrans.com\/?p=1473","title":{"rendered":"Pak128 version 1.99 alpha released!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.simutrans.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/vs3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.simutrans.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/vs3-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"vs3\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-601\" \/><\/a>The pak128 development team has announced that the open-sourcing process of the pakset is finally finished, therefore they have released a preview.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nThis new release, that should be considered as &#8220;non-stable&#8221;, brings lots of changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Removed countless objects for which license agreement was not obtained &#8211; mostly vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Farm products split to bulk foodstuffs and piece goods (<em>wool, cotton<\/em>)\n<li>Lots of new rail vehicles &#8211; &#8220;Duck&#8221; EMU &#038; DMU series, wagons for for fluids, bulk foodstuffs and liquid food, locomotives&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>New, consistent and more complete ship set.<\/li>\n<li>Many additional planes.<\/li>\n<li>Some new station extensions.<\/li>\n<li>Many other bugfixes and improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are too many drastic changes since 1.4.6, so you should treat this release as incompatible with everything earlier, and the compatibility pack will not help you at all.<\/p>\n<p>You can download it at <a href=\"http:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/simutrans\/files\/pak128\/pak128%20for%20110-0-1\/pak128-1.99.0-alpha--110.0.1.zip\/download\">Sourceforge<\/a> and you can also get the sources from the <a href=\"http:\/\/simutrans.svn.sourceforge.net\/svnroot\/simutrans\/pak128\">new repository<\/a>.
