pak.Excentrique v0.13 released *updated*

Hajo is on fire at the moment. He released a new version 0.13 of pak Excentrique. It provides amongst others more city buildings and basic working magnatrack (rolling stock, stations and depots). Magna track depots are particular peculiar, you get your vehicles out of a tin can. See the forum thread or download it right away.

Pak128.Britain 1.10 released

Just in time for Christmas, a new version of pak128.Britain is out today.  Included in the new release, appropriately, are more snow images for stations and HQs (meaning 99% of the set now has snow graphics), along with a wide range of new road and rail bridges, and a large set of new medieval attractions courtesy of wlindley.

Simutrans Experimental 10.3 released

The 10.3 version of Simutrans Experimental has been recently released. This is a minor new release, with several bug fixes like deleting stops from schedules, version numbers on savegames, lines’ average speeds and single vehicle convoys that refuse to load.

Pak128.Britain 1.09 released!

Many thanks to prissi for compiling a release of pak128.Britain 1.09 to go with the new simutrans executable 111. As this is the first release in a year, there are quite a few fixes/changes from 1.08, too many for me to remember but I will try to summarise below:
– many more snow images
– planes
– basic narrow gauge
– more ships and trains
– more citybuildings and attractions
– some player colour stations
– player barriers

Today James Petts released version 10.1 of Simutrans Experimental. This is a minor new release, with several bug fixes like nettool, linux x64 compilation, xml games support and allow extension of runways again.

Simutrans Experimental 10.0 released

Today James Petts released version 10.0 of Simutrans Experimental. This is a major new release, with a large number of bug fixes and significant feature enhancements like:

  • Variable loading times
  • Clearer representation of in-game timings
  • Wait for load offsets
  • Passengers can walk between nearby stations
  • Better handling of traffic at intersections
  • Overtaking of stationary vehicles
  • Pausing of a network server when no clients are connected

During the summer holidays carlbaker has made a beautiful and huge map of South East Europe. You can now download this map from Simutrans Maps and play with a whopping 5,745,600 tiles.
