We have been able to extend our Simutrans South American maps collection by courtesy of gabyregistrado. He made a very nice map of the western part of the Rio de la Plata. It measures 1599×798 and has nice water and mountain features. Apparently the air is very good in this environment.

Today a new map created by AEO was added to the Simutrans Maps website. It represents a large river delta and it’s very large indeed: 4096×786. Be sure to set the water level to -8 to get the desired map.

The September edition of the Simutrans Monthly Screenshot Contest has finished. Congratulations to all people who took part in it.
The summer ends and after this long break, we launch a new edition of SMSC. The subject of this month is Rivers and Channels.
Everybody can participate, with only one screenshot of 800 x 600 pixels, in jpg or png formats. You can use any pakset, and the deadline is September 20th. The voting begins on September 21st.
The prize will be a mention of your nickname in the Simutrans Hall of Fame, praises from the whole community and one post including your picture at blog and simutrans.com.
