September’s Edition of Simutrans Monthly Screenshot Contest

After the long summer break, here comes a new edition of SMSC. The subject of this month is City Tunnels.

Everybody can participate, with only one screenshot of 800 x 600 pixels, in jpg or png formats. You can use any pakset, and the deadline is September 15th. The voting begins on September 16th.

The prize will be a mention of your nickname in the Simutrans Hall of Fame, praises from the whole community and one post including your picture at blog and simutrans.com.

Passenger Ferry

Subject of this contest is a small passenger ferry as seen in many metropolitan areas bordering streams or the sea. The type transporting a few dozen to a few hundred people over short distances.

New drawing rules for pak96.comic

Create your own Balkan

During the summer holidays carlbaker has made a beautiful and huge map of South East Europe. You can now download this map from Simutrans Maps and play with a whopping 5,745,600 tiles.

One multiplayer game to rule them all

Since Simutrans launched the multiplayer mode, there have been lots of games between different kinds of players, and sometimes we have detected the need of several rules in order to to foster co-operation, civility, efficiency, and aesthetics. Therefore, the community is going to start discussing a set of multiplayer netiquette rules, using a new custom map for pak128.
