All Simutrans stuff in a CD

Frank, one of the project managers, has compiled a CD with almost all Simutrans stuff available for the latest version released (102.2.2)

It includes the binary and several paksets like pak64, pakgerman, pakHAJO, pak128, pak128.Britain, pak32.comic, pak192.comic, pak.ttd and pak128.german.

Now you can burn a CD or load it into a USB stick and take it wherever you want. Dowload it here.

June’s Edition of Simutrans Monthly Screenshot Contest

Here we are again with the June’s edition of SMSC. The subject of this month is City Airports.

Everybody can participate, with only one screenshot of 800 x 600 pixels, in jpg or png formats. You can use any pakset, and the deadline is June 15th. The voting begins on June 16th.

The prize will be a mention of your nickname in the Simutrans Hall of Fame, praises from the whole community and one post including your picture at blog and simutrans.com.

New release of pak32.comic

A new version of pak32.comic, v0.8.1, has been released. It includes just some little updates like a new industry chain (Farm – Windmill -Market), some new diesel locos and a more compact menu to play on 640×480 resolution. Remember that this pakset is specially recommended for small screen devices like smartphones.

pak.german 102.2.2 released!

There’s a new version of pak.german for the new simutrans 102.2.2.

This release includes changes in prices and running costs, as well as some new buses and bus stops, besides many other corrections (alignments, old objects removed, etc..)

Pak128 1.4.6 released!

Several days after the new Simutrans release, here comes a new version of pak128 for v102.2.2.

This new release brings many new factories that replace old items, an airplane set, new airport graphics and objects, trucks and improvements to menus as other small updates and bug fixes.

Pak128.Britain 1.07 released!

Great news for pak128.Britain fans! The latest version is out now, and you can get it here.

Main new features in this release:
– AEO’s maglev
– New Citybuildings from Archon and Wlindley

pak128.german is still alive!

After solving all problems with the copyrights, the pak128.german development team has released a new demo version. It’s playable but It has only a few objects and no timeline support. The goal of this demo is to re-awake the interest on the pakset, attract new contributors and fix bugs.

The pakset needs new artists and contributors, thus If you want to join the project, put in contact with michelstadt or Frank through the Simutrans International Forum or the Simutrans German Forum.
